30-Day Startup Warranty Terms
Last updated 19 September 2026 · Aero Engines Inc
1. What is covered
The startup warranty covers internal lubricated mechanical components:
- Engine block casting and cylinder bores.
- Cylinder heads, camshafts and internal valvetrain components.
- Crankshaft, connecting rods, wrist pins and main bearings.
- Pistons and piston rings, verifiable by compression or leakdown test.
2. What is not covered
External accessories are left attached to used units for protection in transit and are not covered. We recommend transferring your own known-good components:
- Intake and exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, superchargers and intercoolers.
- Alternators, starter motors, power steering pumps and A/C compressors.
- Wiring harnesses, ECUs, mass airflow sensors and ignition coils.
- Gaskets, seals, water pumps, thermostats, timing belts and tensioners. These must be replaced before startup.
The warranty covers the unit itself. It does not cover labour, installation, towing, rental vehicles, lost time or any other consequential cost.
3. What voids the warranty
- Running the unit with insufficient oil or coolant, causing overheating or bearing starvation.
- Disassembling the cylinder head, block or rotating assembly without our prior written authorisation.
- Use in competition, racing, or forced-induction applications beyond the manufacturer's boost or RPM limits.
- Failing to replace timing components, water pump and seals before installation.
4. Making a claim
If an internal mechanical fault appears during initial startup, stop the engine and contact us immediately at (209) 264-2179 or [email protected], quoting your order reference. Continuing to run a unit with a suspected fault can void the claim.
We will ask for a compression or oil-pressure test sheet from a certified mechanic showing cylinder-by-cylinder results. Once the fault is verified we arrange a replacement unit or a full refund, and we pay the return freight.
5. Related policies
See our refund and return policy for uninstalled returns, and our shipping policy for delivery damage and freight claims.
