Details & Inspection Notes

Built on the Ford bellhousing pattern rather than Chevy, Mopar, or BOP, this bare StreetFighter automatic/manual transmission is rated for 725 advertised horsepower and runs a 32-spline input shaft, the widest spline count in this StreetFighter lineup, feeding a 13.500-inch tailshaft designed for use with universal-type shifters.

Why the shifter note matters

Because it's designed around universal-type shifters rather than a model-specific unit, check that whatever shifter you're planning to run is compatible with that style before ordering, especially if you're carrying over a shifter from a different transmission swap. First gear is 2.46:1, running through a case built in OEM-style aluminum with a stock-profile pan.

Dual-mode operation and what ships separately

Move the lever into manual and the gear change lands right away, with no lag or governor override getting in the way; Drive mode instead holds firm, positive automatic shifts. Think of this as the core unit only: a converter, flexplate, controller, harness, cooler, and fluid are each a separate line item. The speedometer driven gear and housing are also left out of the crate. Sold individually.

Will my existing shifter work with this? If it's a universal-type shifter, likely yes; confirm compatibility before ordering it. What's the input spline count? 32 splines, the widest among the Ford, Chevy, Mopar, and BOP StreetFighter options here.
